Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Arm Wax.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and lead to finer hair. Touch-ups recommended every four to six weeks for consistent results.

We use gentle waxes and expert techniques to minimize discomfort. Brief stinging is normal, but pre-wax numbing, calming oils, and post-wax soothing products reduce irritation. Inform your technician about allergies or medications beforehand.

Ensure hairs are about a quarter-inch long, exfoliate gently 24–48 hours prior, avoid sunburn, heavy lotion, or retinoids before waxing. Arrive with clean, dry skin and discuss any skin concerns or medications with your technician.

Apply soothing aloe or fragrance-free moisturizer, avoid hot showers, saunas, and intense workouts for 24 hours. Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. If irritation persists, use recommended calming products or contact us for advice.

Some topical prescriptions increase sensitivity and risk of skin damage. Disclose all products and medications during booking. Usually we advise pausing retinoids and certain topical treatments for one to two weeks before waxing; consult your prescribing provider if unsure.

Timing depends on regrowth, but a typical interval is every four to six weeks. Regular clients may extend gaps as hair becomes finer. Book in advance to secure preferred times; our staff can recommend a schedule based on your hair growth.
